Job summary

Colchester Institute is seeking a Work Based Learning Manager - Construction Crafts to lead apprenticeship delivery and drive quality improvements across programmes at Colchester Campus. You will provide strong line management, monitor progress, and collaborate with industry partners to ensure learners gain high-quality, industry-relevant experience.

You will work with the Area Head for Construction Crafts on developing new initiatives, ensuring curriculum standards, and supporting staff

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and driving improvements in quality and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective line management for delivery staff and support staff wellbeing.
• Oversee monitoring of apprentices at risk and report outcomes to Area Head.
• Assist Area Head in curriculum development and new programme initiatives.
• Promote programmes and manage student recruitment and retention.
