Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience within a construction company or contractor environment.
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in Quantity Surveying or commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial team and Quantity Surveyors.
• Assist with the preparation, organisation and maintenance of commercial documentation.
• Help manage subcontractor paperwork, including enquiries, quotations, orders and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, valuations and commercial correspondence.
• Assist with tracking purchase orders, invoices, payments and subcontractor accounts.
• Support the Quantity Surveying team with spreadsheets, reports, trackers and general data entry.
• Organise and maintain electronic filing systems to ensure commercial information is easily accessible.
• Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to obtain outstanding information and documentation.
• Assist with general commercial administration to streamline workflows and allow Quantity Surveyors to focus on key project and financial responsibilities.
• Develop an understanding of commercial processes, cost control and subcontractor management, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.
