South Yorkshire Police is inviting transferee and re-joiner officers to join both uniform and detective teams across the Force, at Constable, Sergeant, Inspector and Chief Inspector levels. You must be a current serving officer in a Home Office force and meet the eligibility criteria to proceed with the transfer process.

Successful applicants will be guided through the transferee and re-joiner process and will be required to undergo the following checks:
Your posting will be dependent on your individual preference and operational requirement. While every effort will be made to meet your individual preference, this cannot be guaranteed.
To rejoin you must have previously served as a member of a police force and have satisfactorily completed your probation service in the rank of constable required under regulation 12.
Rejoining Officers will be appointed in a rank decided by the Chief Officer making the appointment and will complete a probationary period determined by the Chief Officer.
