TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. The role covers KS3/KS4, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

This is a full-time temporary position running until February half term 2027, with payment via PAYE and market-leading rates. A DBS check and references are required for registration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school (essential).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident supervising lessons across KS3 and KS4 and following pre-planned lessons.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom cover across KS3 and KS4.
• Supervise pupils and deliver pre-prepared activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons.
