Job summary

Wessex Water Services is seeking a Conservation Adviser based in Bath, with hybrid working options. You will deliver conservation land management, liaise with teams and external stakeholders, and support projects across the Wessex Water region.

The role requires five years in conservation or related fields, a relevant degree is preferred, and a valid UK driving licence for regional travel. You will collaborate across teams and contribute to biodiversity commitments.

Qualifications

• At least five years in conservation, ecology or environmental sector.
• Biological Sciences or Environmental Management degree desired.
• Ability to work in field and in office, independently and in teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver conservation land management and advise the wider business.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support project work, including budgeting and cost estimation.
• Conduct surveys and oversee habitat management actions.
