Job summary

Wessex Water in Bath is seeking an Assistant Conservation Adviser to join the Conservation team and support the delivery of biodiversity land management. You will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver conservation commitments.

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, a Biological Sciences or Environmental Management degree (desirable), and the ability to work both in the field and office in a hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in conservation, ecology or environmental sector.
• Biological Sciences or Environmental Management degree desired but not essential.
• Ability to work in teams and independently, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver conservation land management and provide advice to the business.
• Schedule habitat management works and manage contractors/consultants.
• Support data collation, GIS mapping and document management.
• Undertake surveys and monitoring and other related tasks.
