Job summary

Northern Powergrid invites applications for a role coordinating domestic and small commercial connections across the North East, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. You will prepare applications through the quotation journey, coordinating with Connection Technicians and Works Coordinators to keep the customer journey smooth.

The role requires a strong focus on customer service, organisation and attention to detail, with a starting salary of £26,676 and progression to £29,395, plus 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Customer service focussed and able to engage with customers throughout their journey.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise workload.
• Attention to detail to follow policies and procedures accurately.
• Results driven to meet targets and standards.
• Effective communicator, able to adapt style for different audiences.
• Team player and willing to support immediate and wider teams.
• Minimum 2 A-Levels or Relevant Level 3 Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Screening connections applications for minimum information and progressing them to the Connection Technician/Works Coordinator.
• Releasing schemes with accurate information to enable a smooth customer journey.
• Perform network checks and coordinate with multiple departments per Design Rules and internal price book.
• Desktop work across multiple systems to progress requests (service disconnections, diversions, unmetered, generation, street lighting).
• Provide support to colleagues within the wider connections teams.
• Manage own workload and adjust priorities as volumes change.
• Support Connection Technicians/Works Coordinator to ensure a 10/10 customer experience.
• Assist the wider Northern Powergrid team during Major Incidents.
