SP Electricity North West is seeking a Connections Assistant to join the Business Connections team in the North West. You will support the delivery of new customer connections, coordinate activities, and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths, English Language and Science.
• Experience in a customer-focused, regulated environment.
• Experience working with database systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries by telephone and in writing, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate end-to-end administration and coordination of connection projects, documentation, and progress monitoring.
• Produce work orders and construction packs, coordinate legal consents, and support project delivery.
• Maintain project records, process requests, raise orders and support compliance reporting.
• Communicate updates to customers and stakeholders throughout the process.
