Job summary

Gibson Dunn in London seeks an experienced Conflicts Supervisor to lead the conflicts coordinators and analysts. You will guide the team, oversee conflict checks, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while maintaining strict compliance with internal protocols.

The role requires deep knowledge of conflicts concepts, strong communication, and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. You will train staff on Intapp and related processes and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred.
• Extensive understanding of legal conflicts concepts and related ethical rules.
• Experience in conflicts roles with supervisory experience a plus.
• Familiarity with conflicts databases such as Intapp, Dunn & Bradstreet, Aderant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of Conflicts Coordinators and Analysts.
• Provide guidance to the Conflicts team and manage team dynamics.
• Oversee conflict check process with timely, accurate reports and research.
• Provide escalation point for Conflicts staff and review conflict reports.
• Monitor quality and consistency of conflicts searches and reporting.
• Give clear verbal and written feedback on work quality.
• Ensure internal protocols are followed; train new hires in processes and Intapp.
• Train assistants in submitting conflicts requests and lifecycle of new matters.
• Help implement and improve conflicts processes and procedures.
• Identify and elevate conflicts issues to Sr. Manager, Intake/Conflicts.
• Handle administrative duties such as timecards, PTO, holiday coverage, reviews.
