Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Practitioner to lead RFI and FCR governance across UK projects. The role focuses on improving KPI performance, reporting and stakeholder engagement within nuclear and major infrastructure initiatives.

You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, translate requirements to tool specifications, and support deployment and optimisation of governance tooling, contributing to safer, high‑quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in process management, KPI reporting, and performance improvement.
  • Excellent data analysis, reporting, and system/tool proficiency.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive actions across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication, governance, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Experience with configuration management, RFIs, FCRs, design change, or open point processes is advantageous.
  • Nuclear, major infrastructure, or HPC project experience desirable.
  • Technical or engineering background beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and continuously improve RFI and FCR processes, procedures, metrics, and reporting.
  • Define, monitor, and drive performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Produce regular management reports and present process performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Chair governance and accountability meetings, maintaining action plans and driving improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IMS standards.
  • Translate process requirements into tool specifications and work with system teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support testing, deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimisation of RFI and FCR tooling.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and accountability to ensure process compliance and performance improvements.

About the Opportunity

Overview

Responsible for leading and improving the Request for Information (RFI) and Field Change Request (FCR) processes, ensuring effective governance, KPI performance, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation within business systems and tools.
