Job summary

Ashford International Hotel & Spa, a 4*, 179-bedroom property in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a Conference & Events leader. You’ll lead from the front with your team to ensure brand standards, deliver a memorable guest experience and maximise revenues for every event.

You’ll work closely with the Events & Group Sales team to plan and execute each event, from private dining to weddings and meetings spaces. The Horizon restaurant and Quench bar complement afternoon tea, leisure facilities include

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within hospitality.
• Experience in busy meetings/events, banqueting and weddings venues.
• People management experience.
• Up to date with food & beverage trends and best practice.
• Knowledge of wines and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Conference & Events team to adhere to brand standards and deliver a high-quality guest experience while maximising revenues.
• Work closely with the Events & Group Sales team to plan and execute each event and meet client expectations.

What will I do?

Responsible for leading the Conference & Events team, you’ll lead from the front and work together with your team to ensure brand standards are adhered to, the guest experience is to a very high standard and revenues are maximised at every opportunity. Working closely with the Events & Group Sales team to plan and execute each event, meeting the client’s expectations.
