Leeds Marriott Hotel in the heart of Leeds is looking for a Casual Conference & Events Worker to help run meetings, banquets and social events. You’ll assist with setup, service and guest welcome, delivering a warm, professional experience across a range of events.

A friendly, flexible team player with strong communication and attention to detail will thrive here. Prior hospitality or events experience helps, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter most as you support colleagues

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and preparation of conference, meeting and event spaces
• Help deliver food and beverage service during conferences, meetings and events
• Welcome and assist guests, ensuring they receive a warm and professional service
• Respond to guest requests and support the smooth running of events
• Replenish food, beverages, equipment and event supplies as required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout events
• Assist with the clearing and resetting of rooms between meetings and events
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure events run efficiently and to the required standard
• Adapt to different event requirements and changing priorities throughout the shift
• Support the team in creating memorable experiences for our guests
