Job summary

The Leeds Marriott Hotel is looking for a Casual Conference & Events Worker to support the smooth operation of meetings, conferences and social events in central Leeds. You will assist with setup, service and guest care in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You’ll join a friendly team, deliver high standards of service and adapt to different event requirements, ensuring guests have a memorable, welcoming experience throughout their stay and events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and preparation of conference, meeting and event spaces.
• Help deliver food and beverage service during conferences, meetings and events.
• Welcome and assist guests, ensuring they receive a warm and professional service.
• Respond to guest requests and support the smooth running of events.
• Replenish food, beverages, equipment and event supplies as required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout events.
• Assist with the clearing and resetting of rooms between meetings and events.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure events run efficiently and to the required standard.
• Adapt to different event requirements and changing priorities throughout the shift.
• Support the team in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
