Job summary

The Ashcourt Group is seeking a capable Laboratory Technician to support concrete testing and quality assurance on site in the United Kingdom. You will contribute to testing, data entry, and adherence to health and safety policies as part of daily laboratory activities.

Key responsibilities include sample testing on site, monitoring materials, calibrating equipment, and assisting laboratory trials, while ensuring compliance with Factory Production Control and the company's quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test concrete on site
• Routine monitoring of all materials and raising any abnormalities
• Organising calibrations of all laboratory equipment
• Data entry for control systems
• Assisting with laboratory trials and testing
• Comply with Factory Production Control in line with the company's quality objectives
• Act in accordance with the company's health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and practices, highlighting any issues appropriately
• Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations by providing statements and evidence where required
• Follow and adhere to risk assessment controls, Safe Systems of Work and PPE requirements
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses using My Compliance
