Job summary

Urban Connect is recruiting Concrete Operatives and gangs for a live highway project in Banbury. The role involves working on concrete pours, levelling and finishing on live carriageways, as part of a gang or independently.

Candidates should have proven concrete experience, a valid CSCS card, and the ability to work safely on live roads. Ongoing work on a major infrastructure project is offered with a professional, safety-focused site environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete works, ideally within highways.
• Valid CSCS card (essential for all operatives).
• Highways passport / relevant tickets preferred.
• Ability to work safely on live roads.
• Gangs must be fully experienced and able to work cohesively.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and site procedures.
• Reliable and able to commit to ongoing work.
• Full PPE required.

Concrete Operatives / Gangs - Night Shift (Live Highway Works) - Banbury

We are currently recruiting multiple Concrete Operatives and established gangs for ongoing day work on a live highway project in the Banbury area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a major, well-established contractor on a large infrastructure scheme.

Responsibilities:

• Pouring, levelling, and finishing concrete on live carriageways
• Working with formwork and reinforcement
• Carrying out repairs and reinstatement works
• Operating tools and equipment safely in a live traffic environment
• Working efficiently as part of a gang or independently
• Following strict health & safety procedures, including traffic management protocols

Requirements:
