Farnborough Airport Limited is looking to recruit a Concierge team member who will report into the Customer Service Manager.
Within this role, you will work as part of a team to:
- Ensure all visitors, including passengers, crews, and tenants/employees, receive first-class hospitality.
- Greet passengers and crew at the door, identify their flight, accompany them to the lounge as required, and handle luggage appropriately.
- Keep passengers waiting in the terminal informed about their flight status and guide them to the company vehicle when ready to board, ensuring their luggage is looked after.
- Offer Concierge services to passengers and crews, meeting their requirements or finding alternatives.
- Facilitate arrival and departure processes for passengers needing checks by Government agencies (Immigration, Customs, VAT, etc.).
- Perform administrative duties when required and assist the Operations/Reception team as needed.
- Demonstrate and encourage adherence to the company values of Proud, Passionate, Ambition, and Together in daily activities.
- Contribute to the company's goal of becoming an Employer of Choice by participating in volunteering opportunities where possible.
- Adhere to the company's policies, procedures, and safety standards, including legislation and environmental standards, and manage occupational risks.
- Support the team with ad hoc activities/tasks as reasonably requested.
About you
- Evidence of right to work in the UK.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Full 5-year employment/educational history with no unaccounted gaps.
- Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) for security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Farnborough Airport Driving Permit.
- Hold a full valid UK driving license or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering first-class customer service.
- Flexibility to work across various shift patterns.
- Airside driving experience.
- Customer-facing/Concierge experience.
