Job summary

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is seeking a Concerts Manager to lead the delivery and coordination of Royal Northern Sinfonia concerts and the wider Classical Programme. You will liaise with artists and agents to confirm rehearsals, travel, and accommodation, while working with the Concerts Coordinator to prepare schedules and bookings.

Qualifications

• Prioritise experience in delivering classical concerts.
• Experience coordinating with visiting orchestras and artists management.
• Familiarity with budgeting and project administration in arts venues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee artist and management schedules for visiting artists, with the Concerts Coordinator.
• Ensure contracts issued and signed at least one month before final schedule release.
• Main contact for visiting orchestras to confirm schedule and logistics.
• Coordinate confirmations for Piano Greats series and regional orchestras.
• Record concert information in Arts Vision and assign resources in Artifax.
• Contribute to monthly orchestra schedule preparation within the RNS/MU Agreement.
• Lead regional operation of Middlesbrough, Carlisle, Kendal and Sunderland concerts.
• Coordinate pre-concert talks with musicians and artists.
• Oversee staffing and front-of-house arrangements for events.
• Drive artists to/from external venues as required.
