Job summary

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead seeks a Concerts Manager to lead the delivery of Royal Northern Sinfonia concerts and the Classical Programme. You will coordinate artist schedules, travel, and venue logistics, liaising with agents and venues to ensure smooth operations.

Work closely with the Concerts Coordinator and Arts/Operations teams to manage regional concerts and ensure accurate data entry in scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering classical music concerts or projects with professional orchestras.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a complex workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with artists/agents to confirm rehearsal orders and travel arrangements.
• Oversee preparation of artist/management schedules with Concerts Coordinator.
• Ensure timely issuance and execution of contracts with Operations/Finance.
• Confirm schedules and logistical requirements for visiting orchestras and Piano Greats.
• Record concert information accurately in Arts Vision and assign resources in Artifax.
• Coordinate regional concerts logistics and staffing for RNS and visiting orchestras.
