We have an exciting opportunity for a Concept Artist to work for one of the UK’s leading giftware wholesalers with a large catalogue of licensed pop culture collectibles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing a multitude of varied products. They will be able to manage and prioritise their workload and have the knowledge and experience to foster ideas for our ever-growing product catalogue.

As a Concept Artist, you will be creating initial concepts for products such as figurines, goblets, tankards, etc., following the project and critiquing right up to the final sample.

• Referring to licensor assets, photographs, or scenery for inspiration

• Identifying and developing ranges from current successful lines

• Build strong relationships within our internal Design and Development team
• Understand our entire product journey to maximise brand knowledge
• Contribute innovative ideas within our internal ideation sessions
• Facilitate the product journey from concept to finished item
• Be a team player, strategically working with the Head of Creative and Product Design Project Manager
• Drive your projects forward using your own systematic workflow
• Collaborate with the development team to build meaningful products via the most efficient process

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Full time
• You will need to demonstrate a strong portfolio of Product Design and Concept Art, and as part of the interview process, we will ask you to complete a design task.
• You will be required to work from our Stoke-on-Trent office, but for the right applicant, work-from-home candidates will be considered.
