Job summary

Education Personnel are recruiting a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher in Derby to work with partner secondary schools across Derby and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Computer Science, and contribute to curriculum development.

This is suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs who enjoy programming, digital technology and helping students build practical computing skills.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Computer Science, Computing or ICT in a UK secondary school is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of KS3 Computing and GCSE Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and Computing across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver lessons covering programming, algorithms, computer systems and computational thinking.
• Support pupils studying GCSE Computer Science.
