Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire from January 2027.

This is a full-time temporary position running from January 2027 until July 2027, with opportunities to impact pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 and to work with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Has a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

Computer Science Teacher (Full-Time) - BB4 Area, Lancashire

Full-Time | January 2027 Start | Until July 2027

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire from January 2027.

This is a full-time position initially running until July 2027, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils throughout the academic year.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in developing their understanding of computing, programming and digital technologies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and school leadership.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
