Job summary

The University of Law in Manchester is seeking an inspiring Computer Science Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our academic team at the central campus. You will guide students through core computing concepts and emerging technologies with an industry-relevant approach.

Applicants from all computing areas are welcome; we are keen on cyber security, forensics, risk & compliance, and penetration testing. Closing date 4 October 2026; interviews w/c 12 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or willingness to work towards*.
• Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE*.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality teaching and support for learning with colleagues.
• Develop module content, structure and assessments with proposals.
• Design inclusive learning and maintain quality standards.
• Explain complex concepts to varied audiences and mentor students.
• Act as module tutor, academic coach and sign-post pastoral support.
