Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education college to appoint an enthusiastic Computer Science Lecturer. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across FE programmes, teaching topics such as programming, cybersecurity, networking, databases, software development and computer systems.

Responsibilities include assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, creating an inclusive learning environment and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Previous teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable. Candidates without a teaching qualification but with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student success.
