Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is assisting a well-established Further Education College in Crawley to appoint a Computing Lecturer on a temporary basis. You will deliver engaging lessons across Computing qualifications to develop students’ IT knowledge and practical skills for study or employment.

The ideal candidate will have a Computing/IT qualification and a teaching qualification is desirable; FE experience is preferred, with strong industry knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in Computing, Information Technology or a related subject.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) is desirable, although support may be available for industry professionals looking to gain one.
  • Experience teaching within Further Education is desirable.
  • Strong industry knowledge in one or more Computing disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Computing programmes, including IT, Cyber Security, Networking, Programming, Software Development or Digital Technologies.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet diverse learner needs.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress.
  • Support students to achieve academic and personal goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with college policies and awarding body requirements.

Computing Lecturer

Salary: £40 P/H

We are currently working with a well-established Further Education College in Crawley that is looking to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable Computing Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into teaching. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across a range of Computing qualifications, helping students develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for further study or employment within the IT sector.


The Role


  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Computing programmes, including areas such as IT, Cyber Security, Networking, Programming, Software Development or Digital Technologies.
