Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a Mansfield-based Further Education College on a full-time maternity cover starting ASAP. You will deliver hardware and software topics across BTEC Levels 1–3, Access to HE Computing, Apprenticeships and T-Levels, helping learners develop both technical knowledge and practical skills.

Are you an experienced Computer Science Teacher with experience of teaching post-16 learners?

Do you have experience delivering a range of hardware or software topics and associated programmes of study?

Are you looking for a full-time Computer Science Teacher role within a Further Education setting offering a broad range of Computing qualifications?

The college is looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting ASAP. The successful Computer Science Teacher will deliver a range of hardware and software topics across programmes including BTEC Levels 1, 2 and 3, Access to HE Computing, Apprenticeships and T-Levels, supporting learners to develop both their technical knowledge and practical skills.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have:

• A relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching post-16 learners
• Experience delivering a range of hardware and/or software topics
• Broad knowledge and experience across Computing programmes
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of levels
• A positive and adaptable approach to supporting learners
