Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd - Engineering & Manufacturing Specialists in the North East of England seeks a time-served CNC Machinist for a full-time, permanent role. You will set, program and operate machines to produce products to tight tolerances and specifications.

The role offers an excellent salary (£44k-£55k), three-shift pattern with no weekends, pension, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and paid overtime. You will have opportunities to train others and develop skills.

Qualifications

• A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience.
• Programming experience is essential.
• Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment.
• Willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others.
• Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications.
• Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
• Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges.
• Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes.

We are working with our client who are a world class manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full time, permanent basis.

Excellent salary £23+ per hour!

No Weekends! 3 shift pattern

We are looking for Millers and a Turners!

You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.
