Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Civil / Structural Revit Technician to join our water sector team. You will produce and coordinate detailed Revit models and engineering drawings for major UK water and wastewater projects, with a focus on reinforced concrete and heavy civil structures.

Working within a multidisciplinary design team, you will deliver BIM-compliant outputs, support clash detection and model coordination, and mentor junior technicians while advancing digital engineering best practice in

Qualifications

• Strong experience using Autodesk Revit for Civil and Structural engineering projects.
• Experience within the UK water and wastewater sector.
• Proven background modelling reinforced concrete structures and heavy civil infrastructure.
• Experience supporting design of treatment plants, pumping stations, tanks, reservoirs, retaining structures or associated water infrastructure.
• Understanding BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, Civil 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 3D Civil and Structural Revit models and detailed engineering drawings.

• Support the design and detailing of water-retaining structures, treatment plant assets, pumping stations, tanks, culverts, chambers and below-ground structures.

• Coordinate Civil and Structural models with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Architectural disciplines.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, model reviews and clash detection exercises.
• Ensure all deliverables meet project BIM standards, client requirements and quality procedures.
• Work closely with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve constructability.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to the development of digital engineering best practice.

As investment across the UK water sector continues to grow through AMP8, my client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Revit Technician to join their expanding Water team.

Working alongside Civil and Structural Engineers, you'll play a key role in developing detailed BIM models and technical drawings for major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience modelling and detailing reinforced concrete and heavy civil structures, including treatment works, pumping stations, service reservoirs, water-retaining structures, underground chambers and associated infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to some of the UK's most important water projects whilst being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The Role

As a Senior Civil / Structural Revit Technician, you'll be responsible for producing, developing and coordinating detailed Revit models and engineering drawings throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed design and construction.

You will work closely with Civil and Structural Engineers to deliver high-quality technical outputs for complex water and wastewater projects.

About You

We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:

• Strong experience using Autodesk Revit for Civil and Structural engineering projects.
• Experience working within the UK water and wastewater sector.

• Experience working on AMP7 or AMP8 water industry frameworks.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks, Civil 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Knowledge of water-retaining structure design and detailing requirements.
• Experience supporting projects for clients such as United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Severn Trent, Thames Water, Southern Water or Northumbrian Water.
• Understanding of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards.
