Job summary

Matchtech is assisting a leading consultancy in the water sector in Leeds to recruit a Senior Revit Technician. You will lead the delivery of high-quality Revit models and drawings across a varied project portfolio.

You will collaborate with engineers, managers and designers, mentor junior staff and help embed ISO 19650-aligned workflows and best practice in digital delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit with well-coordinated models/drawings.
• Solid understanding of BIM standards and ISO 19650 principles.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud for project collaboration.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and improve team delivery.
• Experience on water sector projects preferred.
• Strong collaboration with engineers, PMs and designers.
• Attention to quality and governance of design information.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Revit models and drawings across a varied project portfolio.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to produce buildable design documentation.
• Conduct model and drawing quality checks against project requirements and ISO 19650.
• Utilise Autodesk Construction Cloud for information management and collaboration.
• Work with Project Managers to manage priorities and deliver to programme.
• Mentor technicians and junior team members to raise capability.
• Identify workflow improvements and embedding best practices across digital delivery.

Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Revit Technician to join their team in Leeds

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of high-quality Revit models, drawings and digital design information across a varied project portfolio.
• Support multidisciplinary engineering and project teams by turning technical input into clear, coordinated and buildable design documentation.
• Undertake quality checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, internal standards and ISO 19650 principles.
• Use Autodesk Construction Cloud and common data environments to support efficient collaboration and information management.
• Work closely with Project Managers, BIM Managers, engineers and designers to manage priorities, resolve information gaps, and support delivery to programme and budget.
• Mentor technicians and junior team members, helping build confidence, capability and consistency across the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen assurance and embed best practice across digital delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and confident producing coordinated, high-quality models and drawings.
• Understanding of BIM standards, ISO 19650 principles, model coordination, common data environments, and digital delivery workflows.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud for project collaboration.
• Collaborative skills to work effectively with engineers, project managers, designers and external stakeholders.
• Strong quality mindset and understanding the importance of accurate, well-governed design information.
• Enjoy mentoring others and helping teams improve how they work.
• Experience with Water projects/processes.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, 4D modelling or wider Autodesk Design Suite tools is advantageous but not essential.
