Job description

Electrical CAD Engineer - Defence & Maritime Projects

New opportunity for an experienced Electrical CAD Engineer looking to make a real impact in cutting-edge defence and maritime projects.

The Role:

Primarily focused on projects with maritime defence, you will be working within the Hardware Engineering team and playing a significant role through creating and reviewing electrical designs. The Electrical CAD Engineer will be:

• Using AutoCAD Electrical to produce and review schematics as well as developing component libraries
• Working closely and collaboratively with other engineers including providing support to electrical design teams
• Supporting creation of BOM
• Managing documents and ensuring drawing packages are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant standards

Requirements:

• Proven background in Electrical CAD
• Ideally experience within Defence or Aerospace with knowledge of relevant standards (eg. Def Stans)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is essential.
