Job summary

adi Healy Compressor Services is looking for a Compressed Air Engineer to service, maintain and repair oil-flooded and oil-free compressors across the UK. The role involves mechanical and electrical fault-finding, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring safety, quality and timely reporting.

You will travel nationally while based primarily in the Midlands, joining a supportive service and management team within adi Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar compressed air engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and work independently.
• OEM training and electrical qualifications.
• Oil-free compressor experience beneficial.
• F-Gas certification beneficial.
• Experience with N₂/O₂ generation systems, dryers or central control systems.
• Good IT skills for paperless reporting and service documentation.

Responsibilities

Location - Predominantly Midlands-based, with national travel as required

About the Role

As a Compressed Air Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering service excellence to our nationwide client base. This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, repair, diagnostics and installation of oil-flooded and oil-free compressed air systems.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing oil-flooded and oil-free compressed air systems.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Providing excellent customer service and building long-term client relationships.
• Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
• Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and service growth.
• Working collaboratively with the wider service and management teams.
