Job summary

Voy is seeking a quality-driven Compounding In-Process Checker to join its Compounding team. The role involves performing independent in-process checks during the preparation of compounded medicines, verifying product details, batch numbers, and material traceability, and supporting improvements to ensure accuracy and safety during manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify others' work.
• Good numeracy skills to check weights, quantities and calculations.
• Ability to follow SOPs, batch records and written instructions accurately.
• Well-organised with documentation skills.
• Confidence identifying and escalating errors or discrepancies.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out independent in-process checks during compounding and packaging.
• Verify materials, quantities, weights and calculations against batch documentation.
• Validate batch numbers, expiry dates and material traceability.
• Review batch records for accuracy and completeness.
• Check room, equipment and line clearance before processing.
• Verify equipment setup and processing parameters.
• Complete in-process yield and reconciliation checks.
• Check packaging, labels, pack sizes and finished quantities.
• Identify and upscale errors, discrepancies or deviations.
• Ensure all checks are clearly documented.
• Collaborate with Compounding Operatives, Pharmacists and the Quality team.
• Support right-first-time and continuous improvement within the team.
