  • Perform independent in-process checks during the preparation of compounded medicines.
  • Verify the correct product, formulation, strength, batch size and batch documentation before and during processing.
  • Independently check the identity, quantity and batch/lot details of APIs, excipients and other materials used during compounding.
  • Verify calculations, weights, quantities and measurements at defined critical stages.
  • Check equipment identification, status and setup before processing begins.
  • Perform and document required checks during weighing, blending, encapsulation, liquid preparation, filling, counting and packaging activities.
  • Check finished quantities against expected batch yields and investigate or escalate discrepancies.
  • Ensure required in-process controls are completed and results are within defined acceptance criteria.

  • Good documentation and organisational skills.
  • Confidence identifying and escalating errors or discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • A quality-focused mindset with patient safety at the centre of your work.
