Job summary

Vertu Hereford PDI Prep Centre in Hereford is seeking a compound operative to join the team. The role involves moving vehicles around the site, collecting parts from nearby sites, and assisting the PDI Manager with day-to-day duties.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break, and must hold a full, clean driving licence. The company offers training, progression, and benefits including 25 days holiday and pension.

Vertu Hereford PDI Prep Centre

Vertu Hereford PDI Prep Centre are looking for a compound operative to join their team in Hereford.

We are offering a basic salary of £12.71 per hour working 40 hours per week.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday – 08:00am – 5:00pm, 30 minutes for lunch.

The role includes:

• Movement of vehicles around the compound as well as too and from nearby compounds


• The collection of parts from nearby sites along with supporting the PDI Manager in day-to-day control of the parts department on site


• Checking in deliveries of new and used vehicles

The successful candidate will be a confident, customer-focused individual with a full, clean driving licence. You will be comfortable working independently, as well as representing the business when interacting with customers and colleagues across multiple sites. A driving licence is essential for this role.
