Job summary

Igloo in Peterborough is seeking Compound Drivers to join a leading car remarketing and auction company. You will safely move vehicles within a large compound, manoeuvring and parking cars in bays and workshops, and inspecting for damage before movement.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence with at least 2 years’ experience, the minimum age of 23 for insurance purposes, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Minimum age 23 (for insurance purposes).
• Confident driving various makes and models.
• Previous driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely move vehicles within a large compound.
• Manoeuvre and park vehicles in bays and workshops.
• Handle a variety of vehicles, from small cars to high-performance models.
• Drive manual, automatic, and semi-automatic transmissions.
• Inspect vehicles before moving and report any damage.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (appropriate workwear required).
