Job summary

First Base Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Composite Trimmer in Nuneaton. You will meticulously prepare and trim composite components, using air cutting tools, and ensure tight tolerances while meeting production deadlines.

Reporting to the Composites Team Leader, you will follow detailed work instructions, bond components, drill and fit inserts, and perform finishing tasks to uphold quality standards. The role requires good manual dexterity and a conscientious approach to safety.

Qualifications

Composite Trimmer

Location: Nuneaton

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 12:30pm

Salary: £29,686per annum

The Composite Trimmer position, reporting directly to the Composites Team Leader, is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. The role involves meticulously preparing and trimming composite components, adhering to timelines, and upholding stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Composite Trimmer

• Handcrafts and trims composite components using air cutting tools, ensuring precise cuts and dimensions.
• Prepares and bonds components using appropriate adhesives and fixtures, following established protocols.
• Executes drilling, tapping, and fitting inserts accurately as per project requirements.
• Performs finishing tasks on components prior to inspection, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follows detailed work instructions and procedures provided by the team leader diligently.
