Job summary

Your Recruitment Coach is seeking an experienced Composite Trimmer to join our Norwich-based manufacturing team. You will trim and finish composite components to exact specifications, using hand tools, power tools and trimming equipment, guided by engineering drawings and technical instructions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with carbon fibre or fibreglass, a keen eye for quality and the ability to work well in a team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in composite trimming or similar role.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings/work instructions.
• Strong eye for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Reliable, practical, hands-on approach; team player.

Responsibilities

Your Recruitment Coach are looking for an experienced Composite Trimmer to join a skilled manufacturing team based in Norwich.

What will you be doing?

• Trimming and finishing composite components to the required specifications.
• Using hand tools, power tools and trimming equipment to achieve accurate results.
• Working from engineering drawings, templates and technical instructions.
• Inspecting components to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
• Identifying defects or imperfections and reporting any issues.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Working closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and production targets.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Composite Trimmer or in a similar composite manufacturing role.
• Experience working with composite materials such as carbon fibre or fibreglass.
• The ability to use hand tools and trimming equipment safely and accurately.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• The ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
• A reliable, practical and hands-on approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, motorsport or other advanced manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
