Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Composite Technician (Laminator) for an immediate start in Oxfordshire. The role focuses on carbon fibre lay-up, laminating and tooling in a process-driven manufacturing environment, with a 35-hour week and potential overtime on a short-term contract.

You will carry out laminating, prep tooling, follow drawings, ensure quality and maintain documentation while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Composite Technician or Laminator.
• Strong carbon fibre lay-up and laminating experience.
• Exposure to pre-preg materials and mould/demanding documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carbon fibre laminating and lay-up activities.
• Manufacture composite components using pre-preg materials.
• Work with honeycomb panels and composite assemblies.
• Prepare tooling and support mould making activities.
• Follow technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain quality and process standards in production.
• Inspect components for defects and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Support production targets and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
