Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting Composite Fitters to join a busy manufacturing team based in Raynesway, Derby. You will assemble and fit composite components to engineering specifications, trim and finish parts, and bond components using specialist adhesives.

You will read technical drawings and follow build manuals to ensure high-quality results. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with hand tools, measuring equipment and a strong eye for quality, with a collaborative approach to meet production

Qualifications

• Experience working with hand tools and reading technical drawings.
• Experience fitting, assembling or fabricating composite components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit composite components to engineering specifications.
• Trim, sand, finish and prepare composite parts.
• Bond components using specialist adhesives and materials.
• Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and build manuals.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Support production targets while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Composite Fitter - Build, Bond, Shape!

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm

Location: Raynesway, Derby

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour - 37.5 hours per week paid (30-minute unpaid lunch break and 15-minute paid morning break)

Are you an experienced hands-on worker with an eye for detail? We're currently recruiting Composite Fitters to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Raynesway, Derby.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist manufacturing environment, producing high-quality composite components for a range of industries. If you have experience using hand tools, reading technical drawings, working with composites, assembly, fabrication, or precision fitting, we'd love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in composite fitting, manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or a similar hands-on role
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow technical instructions and engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Strong manual dexterity and practical skills
• Reliable, hard-working, and able to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
