Job summary

Intersurgical Portugal is recruiting a Components Stores Operative for our UK-based logistics team. The role handles inbound deliveries and outbound orders, ensuring components are stored properly and supplied to production promptly.

You will unload, receive, store, pick, and use FLT, WMS, and handheld scanners. The successful candidate will work in a busy, safety-focused environment with flexible tasks and opportunities to learn and progress within a growing medical manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• Experience of warehousing and/or logistics functions and processes.
• Valid FLT licenses (CB, RT and pivot/bendy).
• Experience using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound deliveries and outbound work orders; ensure components/materials stored correctly and provided to production in a timely/accurate manner.
• Unloading, receiving, putting away and picking.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Components Stores Operative to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Logistics Department.

We are looking to recruit a Components Stores Operative who will work as part of a team to process inbound deliveries and outbound works orders, to ensure that required components and materials are stored correctly and provided to the production department in a timely and accurate manner.

The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the warehouse process including unloading, receiving, putting away and picking, and will be expected to use a variety of FLT and also the warehouse management system and hand held scanning devices.

They will be flexible and able to perform multiple different tasks during a working day, and be able to utilise a variety of tools and skills to complete tasks and investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Essential Experience/Qualifications

• Experience of warehousing and/or logistics functions and processes
• Valid FLT licenses (one or more of CB, RT and pivot/bendy)

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

• Experience using warehouse management system and hand held scanners

Hours of Work
