Clinigen is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support receipt and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring high levels of accuracy and customer service for internal and external customers.

You will assist in stock control, order picking/packing, and work under GDP guidelines while maintaining compliance with MHRA standards. A forklift license and driving licence are advantageous, and the role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent numerical and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) preferred.
• Forklift license and driving licence beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in stock, ensure deliveries are correct and document discrepancies within one working day.
• Manage stock rotation, stock counts and recording to ensure availability for sale within 24 hours.
• Perform cleaning to maintain the Operations Centre in line with MHRA and Health & Safety audits.
• Assist with picking and packing and delivery of orders with required documents.
• Collaborate with Clinigen departments to meet delivery specifications.
• Work towards PDP targets with line manager; liaise with stakeholders in Operations Centre and wider business.

Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our close-knit team and play a critical role in the receipt and distribution of pharmaceutical products whilst ensuring a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational

• To assist in the receipt and checking in of stock, ensuring that all deliveries from suppliers are correct and that damages/errors are reported within one working day, and all associated paperwork completed correctly and in a timely manner
• To assist in the effective management of stock, rotation of stock, stock taking and the recording of stock to ensure availability for sale within 24 hours
• To complete the necessary cleaning required ensuring that the Operations Centre is maintained within the MHRA and Health & Safety Audit requirements
• To assist with the delivery of orders to customers, including picking and packing, ensuring that they are correct and are presented to the customer with the necessary documents
• To work closely with all Clinigen departments to ensure that all delivery specifications are met
• Work to the agreed targets set out in your PDP designed in conjunction with your line manager
• Liaise with stakeholders within the Operations Centre, as well as the wider Clinigen business (Clinical Trials, Managed Access & General Access)

Technical

• To work in accordance with all company SOPs and recall procedures
• Assist in the effective operation of the Operations Centre under GDP guidelines by undertaking initial and ongoing GDP training, as well as Individual training and development (on the job training/coaching and specific technical courses)
• To complete administrative duties as required as well as security and temperature recording
• Maintain pest control standards
• Support improvement activities/events within the warehouse.
• Contribute to the development of Clinigen’s culture and the development of an high performing team within the Operations Centre

• Relevant experience of working within a fast paced, proactive warehouse environment is desirable for this role
• High levels of attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent numerical & written communication skills is essential for this role
• Clear, and concise communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• A flexible approach to working as part of a team, with an openness to providing support to the immediate team and wider internal stakeholders as and when required.
• Being comfortable to work autonomously, with the ability to prioritise own workload and make independent decisions
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (including Word, Outlook and Excel etc.)
• Previous experience working with an ERP (ideally Oracle) would be advantageous for this role
• An up-to-date flexi/counterbalance forklift license and driving license would also be beneficial.
