Job Description Summary

We are seeking a senior leader to oversee our complex regulatory compliance operations and customer-facing back-office teams. The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading large onshore and offshore teams, with a strong understanding of operational and regulatory landscapes to ensure seamless compliance integration into daily operations.

Role Overview

You will lead a multi-faceted team of approximately 600 colleagues across onshore and offshore supplier teams, supporting multiple business units with a shared services model. Your focus will be on operational excellence, risk management, continuous improvement, and outstanding service delivery.

Teams You Will Lead
  1. Court Production Order Unit: Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to civil and criminal enforcement, responding to legal orders and requests.
  2. Banking Operations Unit: Manages front-line customer service and back-office processing across various banking products, ensuring seamless operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and control resources to meet performance, service, and compliance standards within risk appetite and budget.
  • Support change initiatives and ensure the safe delivery of transformation projects.
  • Monitor regulatory landscape changes and adjust practices accordingly.
  • Promote a positive people culture and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and represent Lloyds externally in legal and regulatory matters.
  • Invest in capability growth through mentoring and development.
Candidate Profile
  • Extensive experience leading large operations teams onshore and offshore.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
  • Proven success in regulatory compliance within operations.
  • Experience in process streamlining and offshoring operations.
  • Knowledge of retail banking products is desirable.
  • Familiarity with legal disclosures and procedures is advantageous.
