Job summary

VWFS in Milton Keynes invites undergraduates to join our Legal and Compliance team as a Compliance Undergraduate. You will support regulatory monitoring, governance and risk management while gaining exposure to financial services regulation and committee reporting.

You must be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a placement year, ideally in Business or Law. This 12-13 month FTC is hybrid, with in-office three days per week, and a starting salary of £23,915.49 per year.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Business, Law or related degree with a placement year.
• Interest in compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Resilient, self-motivated with initiative.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a register of regulatory landscape changes and inform stakeholders.
• Summarise and assess impact of regulatory changes on business activities.
• Help manage the compliance policy inbox.
• Prepare monthly committee packs with management information.
• Lead, organise and minute Compliance Team meetings.
• Observe monthly committee and forum meetings.
• Support monitoring reviews through scoping, testing and reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory returns across FCA and VWFS AG.
• Support data protection and legal projects where required.
