  • Professional certifications in privacy, compliance, governance, or information security preferred.

  • Deliver and support privacy awareness initiatives and training.
  • Provide guidance on compliant data use, ensuring privacy-by-design principles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance processes and controls.

Job description

We are seeking a Compliance & Privacy Analyst to join a growing organisation operating within a regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in compliance, privacy, or data governance to help shape and strengthen the organisation's compliance framework.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will support the implementation of effective privacy and compliance practices, helping to ensure regulatory requirements are met while promoting a culture of strong data governance and responsible information management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and maintain compliance and privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal privacy requirements across the organisation.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by preparing evidence, responding to findings, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Work collaboratively with teams including Risk, Legal, Data Governance, and Operational Monitoring to identify, manage, and elevate compliance and privacy risks.
  • Deliver and support compliance and privacy awareness initiatives and training across the business.
  • Provide practical guidance on the compliant use of data within projects, systems, and business initiatives, ensuring privacy-by-design principles are embedded.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance and privacy processes and controls.
About You

You will be an organised and analytical professional with experience working in a regulated environment and a strong understanding of privacy and compliance requirements.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in a compliance, privacy, data governance, or similar role within a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, GDPR, and data lifecycle management.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business processes and controls.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience building effective working relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in privacy, compliance, governance, or information security would be advantageous.
