Canterbury City Council is seeking an organised Compliance Officer to join the Tenant and Leaseholder Compliance Team. You will help ensure health and safety compliance across gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, lifts and water, working with contractors and residents.

You must be communicative, able to visit homes, prioritise workloads, produce reports, and maintain the golden thread of compliance. A DBS check will be required as part of pre-employment checks.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable visiting residents at home.
• Keen eye for detail to spot errors in compliance certificates and KPI reports.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet timescales.
• Strong team player with initiative.
• Good time management and administrative skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure health and safety compliance across gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, lifts, water and more.
• Work with contractors and residents to maintain compliance.
• Visit residents in their homes as required.
• Produce monthly KPI reports and keep records up to date.
• Upload certificates to our Compliance software; record no accesses and update trackers.
• Maintain the golden thread of compliance across streams.
