Job summary

JCW Group is seeking a Compliance Specialist in London to take ownership of regulatory and compliance matters across a lean global business. The role offers autonomy and exposure across Trading, Operations and Finance, with close collaboration on onboarding, due diligence and contractual review.

The successful candidate will bring 3-5+ years’ compliance experience in commodities trading, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to advise stakeholders on complex compliance issues while

• 3-5+ years' relevant experience in compliance, ideally within commodities trading.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Good legal and contractual knowledge, with the ability to understand and assess commercial agreements.
• Experience with onboarding, KYC/AML and counterparty due diligence.

JCW Search are working with a privately held international commodities group to appoint a Compliance & Legal professional in London.

This is a broad, hands-on role within a lean global business, offering significant autonomy and exposure across the organisation. You'll work closely with Trading, Operations and Finance, taking ownership of compliance and regulatory matters while supporting the business through its continued international growth.

The role

• Managing regulatory and exchange compliance requirements

About you

• 3-5+ years' relevant experience in compliance, ideally within commodities trading

• Comfortable working independently and managing a varied remit
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working with senior stakeholders
