Job summary

Vercity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Compliance Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of our compliance monitoring regime across hospital maintenance contracts in Mansfield and Newark. You will report to the General Manager and work within an experienced team to ensure statutory and contractual compliance, identify risks, and provide assurance that service providers meet obligations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FM statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review evidence and identify key issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• An understanding of risk management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of quality, environmental, health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with Project Agreement obligations and associated contract requirements.
• Review statutory and contractual compliance evidence through desktop assessments and site-based inspections.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and monitoring documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and elevate instances of non-compliance or insufficient evidence of compliance.
• Liaise with service providers and stakeholders to resolve compliance queries and obtain supporting evidence.
• Identify trends and emerging risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Produce clear and concise compliance and performance reports for management and board-level reporting.
• Support continuous improvement in compliance monitoring processes.

You will be reporting to the General Manager and part of an experienced and friendly team. This a varied, hands on-role focused on ensuring statutory and contractual compliance, identifying risks, and providing assurance that service providers are meeting their obligations.

Key Responsibilities
