Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Conduct and Compliance risk management team as a Compliance Monitoring and Assurance Manager. You will assess and report on Conduct and Compliance risks, lead risk-based assurance reviews, and drive corrective actions to mitigate customer harms and improve control frameworks. The role involves managing review teams, producing reports, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK regulations.

The key responsibilities include:

• Leading planning and execution of compliance monitoring to evaluate systems and controls for customer outcomes and risk management.
• Managing review teams, ensuring comprehensive scope, testing, and reporting aligned with FCA and other regulations.
• Recommending and overseeing actions to enhance controls and customer outcomes.
• Producing clear, high-quality reports for stakeholders at all levels.
• Engaging with stakeholders across the organization to support compliance initiatives.
• Maintaining the risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan and methodology.

Essential qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience leading risk-based compliance reviews focusing on non-financial conduct and regulatory risks.
• Deep knowledge of conduct and regulatory risk assurance methodologies and control environments in banking sectors.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including FCA Handbook and Consumer Duty.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred additional skills:

• Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented work approach with strong project management skills.
