Job Description:

Join our community. In this role within the Financial Crime (FC) Assurance team, you’ll oversee and deliver the FC Assurance agenda, evaluate controls, identify risks, and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading reviews of financial crime controls to identify risks and gaps
• Developing and maintaining the FC Assurance Plan and methodology
• Planning, executing, and reporting on monitoring reviews in areas like AML, FoTE, ABC, Sanctions, and CTF
• Producing reports with findings, risks, and recommendations
• Overseeing management actions and validating their effectiveness

Requirements:

• Experience in financial crime assurance, monitoring, or internal audit in banking
• Deep understanding of UK financial crime regulations
• Experience leading assurance activities and producing reports
• Proficiency in audit and monitoring methodologies

Preferred skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
• Strong project and time management skills
• Financial Crime, Compliance, or Internal Audit qualification
