Job summary

CHS Group is recruiting for a compliance-focused professional to manage asset compliance across housing sites. The role involves ensuring fire safety, gas, electrical, and legionella testing, while embedding risk management and best practices.

You will also manage technical contracts, lead a team overseeing repairs and capital programmes, and strive to keep customers safe and satisfied at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management within housing or social housing settings.
• Strong financial, commercial and building safety awareness.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and solve problems effectively.

Job description

Minimum of 1 day per week at Head Office, plus site visits at other CHS sites around Cambridgeshire

About the role:

The right candidate will be a highly motivated person capable of achieving high levels of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in a housing setting.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full range of asset compliance including fire safety, gas, electric and legionella testing as well as be involved in embedding best practice and risk management.

This role also combines compliance with managing CHS' technical contracts; therefore, you will also lead a team in overseeing responsive repairs and a planned programmes, whilst ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers at all times.

• Proven track record and experience of contract management and managing areas of housing compliance
• Strong financial, commercial and building safety awareness
• Effective communicator, with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent IT skills of Windows-based IT packages, particularly Excel
• Sound knowledge and experience of housing management and asset databases
