You\'ll take a lead role across the Council\'s property portfolio, overseeing statutory compliance, strengthening assurance processes and making sure issues are identified and dealt with before they become bigger problems.
The portfolio covers a broad range of compliance areas, including gas, electrical, fire safety, legionella, asbestos and wider health and safety requirements.

Within the first six months, you\'ll be expected to bring greater control, visibility and consistency to the Council\'s compliance position.
Success will mean senior stakeholders have a clear understanding of where the portfolio stands, outstanding risks are being actively managed, compliance information can be relied upon, and contractors are being held accountable for delivery.
